The images don't work.

Hi I was a CBT player who never really got to play because Fiesta got boring af for me just as Core was released... or was it computer issues idr. I downloaded and am going to spend the night farming something or the other. Hope I meet humans ;p

While browsing youtube, I came across these 2 videos produced by a user. They are more along the lines of guidance videos that explains how to play for new players and although in Spanish (shows our diversity) I recommend to check it out.

You can't just make a crusader and expect to be overpowered from the start. In order to even come close to being on par against other classes in PvP they have to be very very well geared. 
 
They don't have fighter's damage nor a mage's magic damage.
They have just as low defense as a mage does.
Their eva is subpar, like any other fighter class.
They have decent aim.
 
I would like to see Crusaders if it were possible adding them. They're very hybrid class that relies on actual learning of the skills to see what goes on. What most people are afraid of is the removal of 'stacking'. 

First of all I don't like them because they have skills other classes have aswell, Magic Blast, Power Hit, Dash/Blink etc. They even have a skill where you create a kind of Aura and if you're in the Aura you don't get any damage for a certain amount of time, that's just bullshit and overpowered. If you're able to give Crusaders new skills, I'd say: yes, add Crusaders. But until then, please don't. From what I've heard from my old friends that still play on NA Fiesta is that Crusaders are a stupid class and it fucked up Fiesta even more. I definitely don't want this server to get fucked up. Obviously there are different opinions about the Crusader class, but think carefully whether if it'll be in favour of the server or not.

Why don't you like them? I don't like them because their basically a mash up of other classes made into one. Have you seen the skills they have? Crusaders have skills like magic blast and some other fighter skills. I think a new class deserves completely new skill set not reused old ones.

Hey all, I'm returning back to Core about an absence of 6 months or so. I've been here for around a year and a half already. Was the first capped reaper back when the cap was 105 so that's something.

As you say yourself, it's a very tight-knot way of bringing everything together. Now newer players can jump into the action with your local high levels hanging around for any question they desire to ask.
 
This new map is a great way of bringing the community together and if it can help you by reducing resources then the more the merrier. If more maps can be cut down like this and put together, I assume it'll be even more beneficial since there's a lot of maps in the game that are huge, but with reoccurring mobs.
 
The only issues with is:
 
-Leviathan Nest's 'Finish' portal. Most people quit the party but if you go through the portal you can be spawned outside I believe, which spawns you in the current Roumen.
 
-Forest of Mist NPC's (the Temporary Merchants with Stones / Weapons / Skills) should be place next to Grand Master Sean. It's very convenient for those farming Izyel's Tower and grinding nearby.
 
- Name: I believe this new map deserves a unique name. Like "Forest of Beginnings". Which, should be applied to the warp scroll for Roumen and quest dialogs.

I'd really love to sympathize and relate with you; as I love tricksters all the same, but there's a lot of opinionated reasoning mentioned that actually should just be blown off the board because of the status of the server.

As far as 'new/custom/different from retail skills and abilities go the only one I've seen on these files is Slip Away. Most everyone is familiar with what it does, and are either totally for it or against it depending on which side of the table you're sitting at.  I know at one point this skill was excluded from the list tricksters had for it's own reasons, not sure if it's still that way but let's just go ahead and say it is.
 
The skill you mention (vigor/force slash) happens to be a skill that's shown up on a different set of files of which I assume you probably already knew. Keep in mind that this server does what it can to refrain from an obtuse and custom feel but more of a nostalgic feel of what retail is/was. You do still get the skill when it's intended to be unlocked after you prestige. Personally, I don't think it's a game breaker at lower levels, but I also don't think it's going to help you anymore than another skill you already own does.
 
As far as trickster's statistics, we all know what they're known for. Every class has a strength and weakness, the best part of making a character is flourishing in your strengths and objectifying your weaknesses. Calling for a re-balance isn't how you pull off the latter. We've all started from scratch on something new and either chose to make the best of it or simply pick another class. You too have that option.
 
As far as leveling goes, it's a private server. There's really nothing else to add to it. I know that tricksters had a hell of a time trying to level (ideally 50-90 back when there weren't spammed repeats and instances) on retail but it hardly takes any elbow grease to get to 105. Soloing is just a milestone in the leveling life when you pick a melee class unless you choose a leveling partner who accommodates that.
 
In conclusion, once you prestige and you get everything you're asking for in this post you'll probably feel heaps better. So I wish you luck on that at least.
