What's New on Core?

 

Hi everyone! It's been a while since you last saw me and you deserve an explanation. I've been going through some unfortunate personal troubles which left me no time for leisure and so I could not be involved with Core over the summer. It hurts me to see that the player base has dwindled but I am confident that this extraordinary community can be rekindled and I will do all I can to use your feedback to build a server that you, the players, will be eager to return to!

 

Firstly, I'd like to clarify Head Admin FarbodD's message on game updates as it seems to have been misconstrued by some. While it is true that updates have become infrequent, this does not mean that they are completely halted. We work on Core projects whenever our personal lives allow it, and the fact that part of our administrative team has lost motivation and contributes on a more casual basis has strained our ability to produce content.

 

We are working on a big, long-term project that will distinguish us from other Fiesta servers. Because of this, we have established a more realistic approach: updates will be smaller and potentially more frequent. We ask that the community is mindful of this approach when providing feedback on the forums. 

 

Now onto the juicy stuff...

Refer a Friend 

 

Until December 31st at 11:59PM GMT, refer a friend to play Core Fiesta and both you and your friend will receive 1 gold, 10 ❄, 1,000 Coins to spend in the Item Mall, and 7 days of Attendee subscription on our forum. It's a Core Christmas...

 

Snow is piling up on Core Fiesta! Until January 4th, Christmas trees will be found in every major town2 . Dance in front of one to receive a special holiday buff! Don't forget that you can also dance in front of [Admin]Amor in Roumen to receive a cleric's HP & SP buff.

 

What better way to spend your holiday break than by playing Core? That's why we're raising the EXP and drop rates to 1.5x the normal rate, and 2x during in-game events, until January 4th!  We may distract you from grinding at times with our festive events both in the game and on the community forum...

Snowflake Exchange

 

This holiday season you'll be scurrying to collect as many snowflakes ( ❄ ) as you can. Until January 4th, 2015, Mr. Frost and his friends will appear in all major towns to drop snowflakes. There will be opportunities for you to gain additional snowflakes through events. For every milestone, you'll be eligible to exchange your snowflakes for a prize from any Core Fiesta staff you encounter in-game (redeemable until January 4th, 2015). Here's what you can win3:

You can win all twelve prizes by referring the most friends in the Refer a Friend contest. Stay tuned for pop-up events where you can win more ❄! Event reward chests are guaranteed to have snowflakes! Keep playing because you never know when an event might happen...

Snowflake Hunt & Holiday Card Events

 

Attention forum lovers - a blizzard scattered six colourful snowflakes across random posts within the Core Fiesta community forums. Check out the event thread to find out what they look like and what you can win for finding them!

 

Are you good at writing heart-warming holiday greetings? Help me fill out a holiday greeting card explaining what you like most about Core and what your resolution is for 2015 to win even more prizes.

 

As always, we welcome any feedback & suggestions related to events. If you are unsatisfied with the types of events on Core or if you can help improve them, please let us know by creating a thread in the Event Suggestions forum.  Thank you for your continued support and we hope you will continue to be a part of our community for many years to come!

2 Christmas trees can be found in: Roumen, Elderine, and Uruga. 

3 Snowflake Exchange: You must give up the required number of snowflakes to receive the corresponding prize. The exchange must be completed in one trade and by the same character. No exceptions. Snowflakes are redeemable until January 4th, 2014.

One thing I don't complete get is following:

Is it when you get 1k flakes you can redeem everything from the list like a Milestone? Like at 10 collected flakes, I will get the scarf. At 1,000 collected flakes I will get  everything?  Meaning if I want to redeem everything from the list I have to collect 1,000 flakes all together. Or is it if I want lets say the wings + crown I do have to collect 1,000 + 700 flakes? Meaning I will have to collect 3,000 flakes all together. Just a bit of confused about that part.

Ok thanks for explaining it to me, meaning I will need to get 3,000 flakes for the whole package. Which is around 200/day until the 4th January.

Might double check this at the moment, the exp boost disappeared I think. x:
