  1. In the players defense, as a player myself:The players love the server, but they wanted a reason to stay. Had they not cared about the server, they wouldn't be upset that there's nothing new being released to keep them here. After waiting a while and even voting on what we want, it becomes irritating waiting for content we were told will be coming. 

     

    In Far's defense:He did say new stuff will come out sooner or later, but if there's only 2-3 staff able to work atm, it's going to take a long time to get things ready to be released thus making the content come later than sooner. Hopefully if there is new staff/devs coming in, we can get more content coming out, but til then, it's hard to get everything done with their own lives to deal with. All in all, we all care about the server, but the constant bullshit attitudes and arguments thrown to and fro ain't helping anybody. That's what I get out of this at least. xD idk.

I agree, but everyone is human, humans always want more and more than what they have already, they think things come with no work, which isnt true, but here its a bit more of a, I do this, so you do that, so, far updates his server, and we, playerbase, play it,donate, keep it active, as soon as one of them starts to shut down, everything else just falls, a little bit like the domino effect, one falls, the rest falls.

    Mhmmm. I've been taking a break for a few weeks now so I'm alright with nothing happening so far. I'm enjoying the warm weather. I'm no longer albino af. Now I'm just albino. xD

  3. Developing a server takes hours beyond hours a day of planning, programming, and testing, etc. On a private server, you're not getting paid to do anything. You're doing it out of pure enjoyment and paying for it out of your own pocket. When you start getting disrespect from the players and feeling like you HAVE to do this, it becomes a chore, and nobody likes doing chores(procrastinating on vacuuming for 2 hours now so I know...). Once you have a hobby you enjoy become ruined, you lose a lot of will to continue developing more content. No will added to no time results in not wanting to spend the little free time you do have developing for a server that's dead at the moment especially if when you do something it's only non-stop complaining and bickering from everyone instead of being appreciated for what was done. I think that's Far's point, one of which I get from being staff on other servers.

  4. Fitz is talking for me since I cannot access forums or get the launcher to work. I'm coming up on 48 hours and CloudFlare is online and not blocking me from anything. It's saying core isn't allowing me to connect. I have to be on through my phone's connection to get on forums, but once I connect to my wifi, I'm blocked. I haven't played in over a week so idk why I'd possibly be ip banned also. Not saying I am, just seems that's what its doing to me for whatever reason.

  5. I've noticed throughout the years of playing private servers, a lot of server owners become egotistical "trolls" for a nicer word to say it. They build their community, they make a pretty penny off of it, and then they treat the players like crap. It's sad that the owners would treat the players as such. This game is a business and the players are your customers, LOYAL customers. To lie and deceive them in such a manipulative way after already wasting their efforts to gear up and raid is rather unprofessional and disrespectful. Nonetheless, they're the ones paying for your services. To so easily say "Good bye" to a player who has been active and led an active guild which basically started the server and flourished the economy, is wrong, but whatever I say isn't gonna matter anyways. People can say it's bullshit to have a rollback. People can say you should be used to the way Far is. No. You don't get used to it. That's like starting your own business and slapping every customer that walks in and tell them to get the fuck out and expecting the business to stay afloat. You just don't do it. As an owner, your players should be able to trust you to run a FAIR, BALANCED SERVER in service, pricing, and game play. Taking advantage of staff powers is not a way to get players to want to stay. But at this point, clearly Far doesn't seem to care. He entertained himself at the players' expense. Wtg.

    I read that and I agree with it. I was only replying to Fawn to put in my two cents on it. But I still don't agree it should be a guild instance. If they wanna spam it after ML is already in the past, then I don't see the big deal.

  7. It's true. As a mage and having relatively decent damage, I don't hit much on anyone in any class. Fitz is an amazing wiz with nice magic damage and even 70ed it's hard dropping another 70ed glad whereas I thought it was supposed to be relatively easy for a mage against a fighter. Fighter's naturally have low mdef, so just being able to crit them for that is weak imo. That means you're only hitting them for 750 as a normal hit, and crit rate isn't that great on here also. Once you take the crit rates, the high hp, and the mdmg and put it together, a mage doesn't do as much dmg as you'd expect them to. You can maybe get them down to 45% hp(?throwing out a rough estimate) before your stifle, fear, or ice (if you even hit) wears off and there they are and you're stunned and killed in a matter of seconds. However, the fast kill is expected. Mages have poop def.Archer's and trick's eva make it difficult to actually hit them as is. So if you even get to hit them, you're not hitting them that hard. I do believe though that archer's and trick's dmg should be increased slightly. Not by a shit ton though.

    About that instanced Malephar being gone now.

     

    I kinda of think that if you were going to keep that, you should just run it like

    normal Malephar but guild instance it like Noit, but give it the same respawn timer.

    So we'd still have to wait 12hours for it to respawn but the whole guild could enter.

     

    Just a thought. Or at least turn Male back on respawn. -.- otherwise there's not much to do.

     

    That's what I was thinking also, but I still think the competition is better for server activity at this point. After the cap was raised and ML isn't being raided so much, then I could see it being a guild instance just to keep people working for better things before ranking up to the next better level of gear and weaps ya know? Kinda to keep the activity flowing.

    • Added instanced Malephar.

    In all honesty, I think this was not called for at all. It officially wiped out any competition on the server between guilds and that's what kept the server thriving. Deviant didn't always win, nor did Maj or Rapture. I don't understand how this was necessary. All of us that worked months for gear and weapons have now had that hard work put to waste and ML gear and LH weapons are gonna be an overkill, and SL is plain useless now. The only reason I'd find this a suitable decision is if it was released after a cap raise where people mostly had ML gear/weaps and were working towards the next level of better gear and weaponry.

     

    • Decreased level 45 blues to 5% drop rate. (From 50%)
    • Decreased Blue Weapons to 20% drop rate (From 30%)

     

    Finally!! xD Made it way too easy to farm any lower leveled "raid".

  10. you just implied it takes you 2 hours each noit attempt, because the 10 min are convenient after 2 hours stright. What about the guild that dont take that long per kill? I understand the mass in "op" items, but with drops set as is even with the spawn time removed it wouldnt be a problem.

    He's saying after 2 hours of repeatedly doing Noit, the 10 minutes come in handy for taking a short break in between attempts to go do something other than sit on our behinds "growing 6packs", in the words of Neil. lol

  11. The point of the cool down is the same point for every other instance(guild or party) and raid. Without it, it would take almost no time to get drops needed thus saturating a server with a rare item. It'd only lead to boredom and drops being obtainable far too easily.And relating to your "No knight" comment, our glads can handle tanking just as easily as knights, so no need for 'em.
