  1. I know we've lost touch lately but I sincerely wish you all the happiness and success in your future endeavors. I'll never forget your investment in me that enabled such wonderful experiences during my time as an admin. Thank you for everything you've contributed to this community, Farbod. ?
  2. Merry Christmas, Core!

  3. If you and your friends are really set on getting the Onyx Crown (which it seems you are considering how quickly you accumulated tens of thousands of 'flakes!), you could always farm money to purchase Lucky Capsules. There's a chance of obtaining it from there.
  4. Haha, the Christmas town themes don't get annoying as quickly as the originals since they only show up for a month per year.

    K

K It's the 11th letter of the alphabet and an informal way of affirming something. Recently I trained someone close to me not to use 'k' anymore because it bothered me. How do you feel when someone responds with 'k' instead of taking the time to spell out 'okay', or even 'ok'? Does it cause you to break out into fumes out of anger, or do you not really care? Have you ever had a bad experience with someone who's responded this way? I don't know.
  6. Core Fiesta Screenshot Thread I could have sworn I already made a thread like this, but I guess not! I thought it would be nice to have a thread where we can post memorable screenshots of Core. I took a few screenshots during my time as a GM/Admin, so here are a few of my favourites. (I'll be posting more as I find them.)
  7. Feels like I'm in a Robin Thicke video!

  8. To the players of Core Fiesta: For the first time, on January 6, 2014, I excitedly leaped into the same adventure you have been on since Core Fiesta opened its doors. As soon as I landed on the website that Mucski so skillfully designed and coded, my impression was "Wow, this is a really promising server!" It wasn't long after that I felt the need to contribute to Core Fiesta's success in some way. As there were no Game Masters at the time, I volunteered myself to Amor. Initially, my abilities were quite limited but I was committed to applying myself as effectively as I could. In conjunction with overseeing community events and enforcing our Terms of Service both in-game and on the forums, I also assisted the team in creating custom content and graphics - from event banners to costumes and accessories. It's always been so heartwarming to see you all complimenting my work and wearing it proudly on Core. In mid-2014, I was hit with some heavy events in my personal life that restricted me from devoting any time to the server. The feeling of 'abandoning' our players was difficult for me to overcome, but my family needed me more. Nevertheless, in early 2015 I was ready to jump back into things, starting with a new event format and brainstorming ideas to re-populate our server. My commitment earned me a spot as an Administrator (Amor says he misses the colour I gave to our forum with my orange title). I quickly learned that being an Administrator demands a lot more time and effort - something that I felt I couldn't provide given my busy schedule. This lack of time meant that I could no longer spend upwards of 15 hours creating and testing custom hair, faces, costumes, and accessories, updating the Facebook page regularly, all while ensuring events were being updated and prizes delivered. I was frustrated that I, myself, with Amor's updates, couldn't deliver what the players had asked for. For this reason, it is with great difficulty that I am announcing my resignation from the Core Fiesta team. My abilities and knowledge have grown immensely thanks to the community and my partners. I can't thank you enough for allowing me this wonderful opportunity and being patient with me when my performance was unsatisfactory. I wish for Core Fiesta and the players who have remained loyal and supported us for all this time to see only great success in the future. I love you!

    Bad Blood

She's never actually confirmed it, but that's what she made people believe after the responses she gave during an interview.
  10. Try to restart your computer and see if that resolves it.
  11. You put the brakes on this and it drove me wild.

  12. Do you ever feel unappreciated?

  13. Thanks very much for your suggestion! It's good to see that there is some support for it since we had already considered making these changes to the older event items. I had already communicated my reasons to you in private but I will share them with everyone else, too. Easier to distribute prizes. Tradeable event items allow us to distribute prizes to players much more quickly via trade rather than having to go through the cumbersome process of manually placing it in your reward inventory. Event flexibility and attendance. Since the items can be dropped, it gives us more options when hosting events. It might also increase event attendance because players have more use for the costumes which makes the event more worthwhile. Economy. I hope that eventually there will be event items whose stats and cosmetic appearance are so desirable that they will be considered rares that players would be willing to spend lots of gold for, thereby adding another dimension to the game's economy. If there are any objections to this suggestion, I'd be willing to hear it. Otherwise there is a high probability that this change will be made in the near future.
  14. It's something that might pop up in future events.
  15. Making multiple versions of each costume just for the stat would be incredibly time-consuming. Perhaps the best solution would be to eliminate stats on cosmetic items altogether. That way no one will be disadvantaged.
  16. The Design a Shirt event is officially over! Your designs were all very unique, just the way I like it. Since the winner of this event is determined by the community, I decided to use post likes to quantify the popularity of each design. Here are the vote counts at the time the event ended: Shiver - 5 Vanity - 6 Natrix - 2 Skunk - 8 Damascosa - 6 MeliChu - 3 Kebin - 3 Advent - 1 Congratulations to Skunk who received the most votes with 8 Likes. Thank you to everyone who participated - you're all awesome!
  17. With regards to the costumes, I was thinking to eliminate any variations among their stats except for specialty costumes (i.e. event, custom costumes, etc). That way if players don't like the more advantageous costumes, they aren't forced to wear them. We can definitely add the Red Sensai Suit if it's not already in the shop. I would also like to add more cosmetic auras in the future.
  18. Hi there! Sorry for not rewarding you sooner. I have sent you a private message regarding your prize. Kindly direct any future concerns of this nature to me personally via private message.
  19. Thank you to everyone who participated in the Design a Shirt contest. I am really impressed with the humour, creativity, and beauty of all of your designs. This event is unique because we are letting the players decide who the winner will be. Please 'vote' for your favourite design by pressing the 'Like This' button beside the entry post. The entry that accumulates the most Likes by 11:59PM UTC on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 will be declared the winner and will have their design featured in Core Fiesta as a custom item.
