  1. Account Security Tips If you've ever been hacked an online game, you know how it feels to lose all the things you've worked for. We don't want that to happen to anyone on our server, so I've compiled a list of some basic account security tips that will help you avoid getting hacked: 1. Select a login ID that is unrelated to your in-game character name. Doing this will make it more difficult for someone to gain access to your account because they will first have to figure out your login ID. 2. Select a password that uses a combination of uppercase letters, symbols, and numbers. Don't go crazy with your password or you might forget it, but try to capitalize words or replace letters with numbers, for example: password -> P@5sw0rd This will make it more difficult for keyloggers to decipher your password and prevent common password scripts from guessing yours! On that note... 3. Ensure that your computer is protected. Make sure that you don't leave your computer for others to gain access to while you're away and logged into the game or forum. Don't forget to install a reliable anti-virus program to catch any malicious programs on your computer. This is especially important when others are sending you files. Always scan suspicious files because they may be harmful to your computer and jeopardize the security of your account. Be extra cautious with files sent from other Core players –– they have more to gain from your account! 4. Be aware of your security question. Not only should you be aware of your security question so that you don't forget it, you should also know when someone else is trying to gain information about you in an effort to guess it. Always be careful of who and what you reveal to others, especially other players on Core Fiesta. 5. Keep other online accounts secure. If someone gains access to your e-mail account, it makes it that much easier to recover your details and access your Core account. It's always a good idea to use different passwords for every online account because if someone finds out your Core account password, and you use that same password for your email and banking account, the intruder then has access to those accounts too! Just don't forget all those passwords! 6. Review and change your account details regularly. Take a look at your email address, security question, and password every few months and ensure that they satisfy the above tips. If possible, it's advisable to change your account details regularly as well.
