What's New on Core? Hi everyone! It's been a while since you last saw me and you deserve an explanation. I've been going through some unfortunate personal troubles which left me no time for leisure and so I could not be involved with Core over the summer. It hurts me to see that the player base has dwindled but I am confident that this extraordinary community can be rekindled and I will do all I can to use your feedback to build a server that you, the players, will be eager to return to! Firstly, I'd like to clarify Head Admin FarbodD's message on game updates as it seems to have been misconstrued by some. While it is true that updates have become infrequent, this does not mean that they are completely halted. We work on Core projects whenever our personal lives allow it, and the fact that part of our administrative team has lost motivation and contributes on a more casual basis has strained our ability to produce content. We are working on a big, long-term project that will distinguish us from other Fiesta servers. Because of this, we have established a more realistic approach: updates will be smaller and potentially more frequent. We ask that the community is mindful of this approach when providing feedback on the forums. Now onto the juicy stuff... Refer a Friend Until December 31st at 11:59PM GMT, refer a friend to play Core Fiesta and both you and your friend will receive 1 gold, 10 ❄, 1,000 Coins to spend in the Item Mall, and 7 days of Attendee subscription on our forum. What better way to spend your holiday break than by playing Core? That's why we're raising the EXP and drop rates to 1.5x the normal rate, and 2x during in-game events, until January 4th! Snowflake Exchange This holiday season you'll be scurrying to collect as many snowflakes ( ❄ ) as you can. Until January 4th, 2015, Mr. Frost and his friends will appear in all major towns to drop snowflakes. There will be opportunities for you to gain additional snowflakes through events. For every milestone, you'll be eligible to exchange your snowflakes for a prize from any Core Fiesta staff you encounter in-game (redeemable until January 4th, 2015). Here's what you can win3: You can win all twelve prizes by referring the most friends in the Refer a Friend contest. Stay tuned for pop-up events where you can win more ❄! Help me fill out a holiday greeting card explaining what you like most about Core and what your resolution is for 2015 to win even more prizes. We're feeling extra generous this Christmas and want to give you and the player you refer some super cool prizes! Below you'll find 4 easy steps to collecting your prize: Inviting Your Friend(s) Prizes Both you and the friend you invite will win all of the prizes listed below. Also, the player who refers the most amount of players throughout the duration of the promotion will win all twelve prizes from the Snowflake Exchange!2 Yes, you can invite multiple friends and get rewarded again. For example: If someone were to miraculously refer 100 friends, they would receive: 100 gold, 1,000 ❄, 100,000 Item Mall Coins, and almost 2 years of Attendee subscription! The winner will be announced upon contest closure. Other Ways to Get Involved Don't have many friends who are interested in playing Core Fiesta? You can still help spread the word about our server. You won't be rewarded with items, but I'll pat your back and give you a great big hug for caring about the community. Here are just some ways you can contribute to this incentive: Vote regularly. Generally, server index websites reset their votes every month. Like us on Facebook. Comment on Fiesta private server videos on YouTube (remember not to be pushy or rude) and remind people that we are still up and running. Spread the word on social media sites (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube), either verbally or by creating content such as videos and graphics. Log in - even leaving your character in the game will show new players that it's not a dead server!
